Broyhill Travel to Russia During Spring Break 2013

As a student at Lenior-Rhyne University, you have the opportunity to travel to Moscow and St. Petersburg during the Spring Break 2013 (March 8 - March 17, 2013). The Broyhill Institute for International Scholarship is making available scholarships for $1,000 to defer a part of the cost for students wishing to participate.
Professor Mancos and his wife will accompany ten students on this trip arranged by Casterbridge Tours. The group will spend three full days in Moscow, take an overnight train to St. Petersburg, and spend two full days in St. Petersburg. We will also spend two days in Munich, Germany (though depending on the airline connections at the time of ticketing, we may instead spend two days in Amsterdam, Netherlands). Four days of an English speaking guide will be provided while in Russia. Students participating in this program must take LRU 471, a one credit experiential learning course during the Spring Semester, 2013.
The cost of the trip is $3,659. With the the $1,000 Broyhill Scholarship award, the cost of the trip to the student is $2,659. Students participating in the program will need to submit a deposit of $675 by April 5, 2012. The balance of $1984 is due September 28, 2012.
