The Department of Intercultural Student Services seeks to be a nationally recognized department known for providing comprehensive ethnic and race-related programming that help prepare our students for a diverse world.
We accomplish this by providing diverse programming across the University's four foundational spiritual, academic, social and athletic pillars.
The spiritual pillar is in accordance with the University's vision of "positioning our graduates for success in their...personal and spiritual lives", and the University's mission to develop the whole person and help students "clarify personal faith."
- The academic pillar is in accordance with the University's vision "To be a nationally recognized liberal arts University of choice..." And being known for "developing patterns of lifelong learning."
- The social pillar is in accordance with the University's vision of "building leaders for tomorrow." It coincides with the University's mission to "promote responsible leadership for service to the world."
- The athletic pillar is in accordance with the University's mission to "foster physical wholeness."
