About Health Services
Student Health Service is an on-campus health facility located on the third floor of the McCrorie Center which helps to meet the students' optimum wellness through wellness promotion, illness and injury management, and health lifestyle choices.
Student Health Service is staffed by a registered nurse.
After hours care is provided by Piedmont Urgent Care, Frye Hospital, and Catawba Hospital Emergency Rooms.
All students with a submitted health record and physical are eligible to use the Student Health Service facility.
If you believe you are experiencing a potential illness or injury that is a life threatening emergency
please call 911 NOW!!
The Student Health Center is not equipped to manage life threatening situations. For Non-life-threatening Injuries or Illness after hours, please follow the instructions posted on the left side of this door. For after hours transportation, call LRU Security at
828-328-7146.
